When everyman Luke meets Cameron, a dominatrix, at a bonfire, they begin an illicit affair, which causes Luke to question the very foundations on which his understanding of masculinity has been built. As they grow closer, Luke must recognize his innate need for submission. Yet, just as Luke settles into the dynamic, Cameron discovers the truth. Luke has been married since he met Cameron. The resulting fallout caused the end of the affair. Luke, unable to cope with the truth of himself, implodes his marriage from the inside out.
