A young woman and her elderly neighbor become unlikely friends when she stumbles into his garden to retrieve a lacrosse ball, changing their lives forever. An inter-generational story about queerness and its many forms. It follows the aftermath of two relationships that end in grief. Santiago, who is grieving his husband who recently passed, and Kennedy, who is struggling to come to terms with separating from Ha-Yoon, a woman she had planned to marry. Santi and Kennedy help one another process and heal their grief throughout the story. They both learn how to move on despite their pain and trauma from their respective losses. Both come to terms with their grief and begin to live again.
